POP Christmas Charity Ball 2019
One hundred and forty guests who attended the second Power of Parenting Christmas Children's Charity Ball at the prestigious Oakley Court Hotel Windsor, in the presence of the Mayor of the Borough of Bracknell Forest, Pauline McKenzie, saw the event raise over £10,140. With this year's target of raising over 6k the organisers were amazed with the response.
To a background of saxophonist and a Westend singer, the guests danced until midnight to celebrate the work done by the charity for foster children and their families in Bracknell and Berkshire. 12 foster families where the events special guests, having an evening out paid for by the sponsors Crownwood Dental & MediSpa and American Airlines.
The guests were treated to a surprise Westend medley after dinner, when one of the guests was invited by the singer to do a duet. After some hesitation the guest stole the mic from the singer and sang a hit from the Westend show Chicago, to the audiences enjoyment.
With speeches given from the Mayor and Paul, the Founder of Power of Parenting following, the evening was a great success and enjoyed by all the guests.
Power of Parenting is grateful to all its sponsors who continue to support the work the charity does providing bursaries to Fostered Children of Berkshire.
We are looking forward to next year's event. We hope to see you there.
